Welcome to asab. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the asab mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using asab, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who we are
asab is operated by MK Builds LLC ("asab," "we," "us," or "our"). You can reach us at help@mkbuilds.dev.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use asab. If you're between 13 and 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms and agrees to them on your behalf. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Your account
When you sign up, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. What asab does
asab helps you organize content you save from third-party platforms (such as TikTok and Instagram Reels). The Service transcribes saved videos and uses that data to generate personalized content ideas. asab does not host, redistribute, or commercially exploit third-party content — transcripts and derived ideas are for your personal, non-commercial use only.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of any content you create, save, or import into asab ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you.
You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to save, transcribe, and analyze any third-party content you import. asab is a personal productivity tool and not a means to republish or redistribute copyrighted work.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use asab to violate any law or another person's rights.
- Scrape, redistribute, or commercialize transcripts or content generated by the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
- Upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, or disrupt the Service.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
7. Beta and waitlist
asab is currently in pre-launch. Features, pricing, and availability are subject to change. Waitlist signups don't guarantee access to the beta, and any "lifetime access" promotions are limited to the terms stated at the time of signup.
8. Subscriptions and payments
When paid plans are introduced, terms for billing, refunds, and cancellation will be presented before you subscribe. Apple App Store purchases are also governed by Apple's terms.
9. Intellectual property
asab, including its software, design, branding, and content, is owned by MK Builds and protected by copyright and trademark laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.
10. Third-party services
asab integrates with platforms like TikTok and Instagram via their public sharing features. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those platforms. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
asab is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that transcripts and content ideas will be accurate. Use the Service at your own discretion.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MK Builds is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you've paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
13. Termination
You may stop using asab at any time and request deletion of your account by emailing help@mkbuilds.dev. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we'll notify you via the email associated with your account or through the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where MK Builds is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
